Doug Nash is an experienced trial lawyer and the Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Doug’s practice is focused on aggressively protecting U.S. manufacturers in the telecommunications and healthcare industries against the significant harm to their businesses that results from infringement of their intellectual property rights, especially their patent rights. He also spends a significant amount of time defending U.S. companies in the same industries against attempts by their competitors to unfairly use patent litigation as a way to hinder lawful competition. Doug’s clients are located across the U.S., and, as such, he routinely represents clients in courts and administrative agencies (such as the ITC and the PTAB) in places such as Delaware, Texas, California, Washington, D.C., Wisconsin, Arizona, Minnesota, Arkansas, and New York.
Doug’s successes have been reported on widely by various publications, such as IPLaw360 and New York Magazine, and, based on nominations from his clients, he has been recognized as a Client Service All-Star by the BTI Consulting Group. Doug also has been published by the Association of Corporate Counsel in connection with his leadership on working with his clients in the area of alternative fee arrangements to make intellectual property litigation costs more affordable and predictable.
