David Mess – The Ohio State University

David Mess is the Director of Commercialization Strategy at The Ohio State University’s Office of Technology Commercialization. In this role, David is responsible for managing the university’s newly created IP monetization program. Before this role, David was the Assistant Director of Licensing at Ohio State and in a number of licensing and technology management roles over the past 10 years at OSU. David has a JD, MS in Biochemistry and bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Natural Resources from OSU. He is also a registered patent attorney.
