Ashby Jones – The Wall Street Journal

Ashby Jones is the chief of The Wall Street Journal’s law bureau, a position he has held since early 2016. Previously, he served as a national legal affairs writer for the Journal, and before that worked as the lead writer for the Journal’s legal news blog. Before arriving at the Journal in 2005, he worked at the Deal and American Lawyer magazines; as an attorney at a large law-firm in Seattle, and as a law clerk for a federal appeals judge in New York City. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Michigan Law School.
